Developed a vehicle tracking and speed detection system using YOLOv8 for
identifying speeding vehicles

• Role: Leader - Backend, AI Model Integration
• Description: Developed a tra®c monitoring system that detects, tracks, and
calculates vehicle speed, identifying vehicles that exceed the speed limit. The
system uses the YOLOv8 model for object detection and tracking, and employs
custom algorithms to accurately measure vehicle velocity.
• Responsibilities: Designed and implemented the backend architecture for realtime data processing and vehicle detection. Integrated the YOLOv8 deep
learning model for high-accuracy object recognition and speed tracking, Finetuned the tracking system to ensure real-time performance and accuracy in
detecting speeding vehicles. Analyzed and processed tra®c data to generate
reports and visualizations

I am a final-year AI Engineering student, focusing on developing object recognition and
tracking systems. In my recent project, I built a system to identify, track, and measure
the speed of vehicles, detecting those that exceed the speed limit. This system
leverages deep learning models like YOLO to recognize vehicles, track their
movement, and calculate their velocity. Although I am new to the industry, I am
enthusiastic about applying my skills to develop scalable AI solutions that deliver real
value and positively impact to users
